WINTER TOUR TO THE ALTAI MOUNTAINS

DAY 1
Morning flight from Moscow. Arrival in Barnaul.
Meeting at the airport.
Transfer to the hotel in Chemal (hotel "Turquoise" or similar)
during the lunch route in the city of Biysk. Arrival at the hotel
Excursion to Chemal and Patmos Island (winter landscapes of the Katun river).
I'm going back to the hotel. Dinner.

DAY 2
Breakfast at hotel
11-00 Hike to the blue lake without ice (near the Katun river there are several lakes with crystal clear water, you can see all the pebbles on the bottom ... but the depth reaches (18-25 meters). In winter , during the Epiphany holidays, the Russians even bathe in these lakes.
13-00 Lunch at the hotel.
14-30 Afternoon trip to Altai ail, familiar with the life and culture of the indigenous people of Altai. Learn to play the musical instrument "komus".
16-00 Return to the hotel.
18-00 Dinner. Overnight

DAY 3
9-00 Breakfast in the hotel.
10-00 Excursion to the Altai National Museum, conversation with the indigenous people of Altai, the guide will tell you about the national clothes of domestic utensils (dishes, etc.).
13-00 Lunch in Chemal.

DAY 5
9-00 Breakfast in the hotel.
11-00 Trip to the taiga, walk in the forest (picnic lunch with fire and cooking over a fire, history of the way of life of the locals).
14-00 After lunch, trip to the local zoo, with the animals of the taiga of this region (the zoo is located in the forest, outdoors).
16-00 Return to the hotel. Free time.
18-00 Dinner.

DAY 6

9-00 Transfer to Barnaul (420 km).
13-00 Lunch in the Gorno-Altaisk,
15-00 During the journey we will visit the "Legend" ethnic park, where rituals, signs and traditions of the Altai people will be told.
Continue to the village of Polkovnikovo visit to the Astronautics Museum (the second cosmonaut Titov was born in this village)
20-00 Approximate time of arrival in Barnaul.
